Clean Fleet Report ran a few test loops to get a feel for real world fuel economy and electric range. kWh battery is charged, there is no sound upon pressing the start button as the Escape PHEV defaults to electric mode. EV Charge mode charges the battery while driving. 244 total miles, with 144 all-electric miles.
