Francis Gatare, Director of the Rwanda Development Board, and Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Group South Africa, this week signed a memorandum of understanding for a new integrated mobility concept in Kigali in the presence of Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame and Dr. Herbert Diess, CEO of the Volkswagen brand. —Thomas Schäfer.

For the first time in the history of the company, SEAT will collaborate with the Volkswagen brand to develop a new vehicle platform—a smaller version of the Modular Electric Drive Toolkit (MEB) on which multiple vehicles of the size of around four meters in length by different brands, SEAT among them, will be made.
