I have never been a big fan of battery swapping.

They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? Hybrids are a proven winner, but a series-hybrid (range extended EV), such as the Volt takes things to a much higher level with existing and "mostly" affordable tech. Its a damn shame.
