Another newcomer to the French Market at significant volume was the new BYD Atto 3, with 60 units in May (it had landed just 6 demo units over the previous two month). They presumably are also increasing production capacity for these BEV models, if nothing else, to compete with the “feared” affordable BEVs from Chinese brands.

The secret is that Polestar is an electric performance brand from Volvo and its Chinese owner, Geely Holding. A BMW owner, he is a possible future Polestar buyer, which made this a demo ride and reinforced my positive impressions. One new and more affordable option is the Mustang Mach-E , but the personality difference is substantial.

Atulji's answers that question in the video :) Benling India - Aura So the parent company is a large Chinese electric scooter company called - Dongguan Benling Vehicle Technology Co. The design is a classic Vespa knockoff that seems to come from the parent Chinese company. Maybe both are getting it from the same Chinese manufacturer.
