The 2010 Ford Transit Connect. Ford is introducing the North American version of the 2010 Transit Connect light commercial vehicle at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show this week. Ford is collaborating with Smith Electric Vehicles to bring the electric Transit Connect to market in North America in 2010.

Currently (2010), electrified products (only hybrids at this point) represent 1% of Ford’s global fleet.
