At IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Porsche is presenting the Mission R concept electric car that combines advanced technologies and sustainable materials, such as natural fibre-reinforced plastics, with a passion for racing. The Mission R is on a par with the performance level of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

Globally, by 2025, Audi is aiming to have 30 electrified models on sale, with 20 of those vehicles fully electric. In the US, Audi has already introduced five production models: the Audi Q5 TFSI e, A7 TFSI e and A8 TFSI e plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) as well as the e-tron all-electric SUV and upcoming e-tron Sportback.

New for 2022, the Sport designation means a G80 with all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive on the G80 Sport has a multi-link rear suspension with an electronic limited-slip differential that can seamlessly send power to either rear wheel. The dash had real carbon fiber trim along with a minimal use of brushed aluminum.
