California ARB to hold community meetings on coming LEV III combined tailpipe and GHG regulations

The proposed amendments, known as LEV III, ask for more stringent tailpipe and greenhouse gas emission standards for new passenger vehicles sold between 2018 and 2025. The community meetings are currently scheduled for Fresno (12 July); Pacoima (19 July); and Oakland (26 July). Earlier post.) These are: 2 March 2010.

The Scoping Plan describes the comprehensive range of efforts California must take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020 and meet the state’s long-term goals to combat climate change.
