A drivable prototype of the W-15 will be unveiled at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, California, on May 2. Production models are scheduled for delivery in 2018. Workhorse has released initial specifications of its W-15 pickup truck, for which it has accumulated letters of intent for 2,150 units.

Tropos Motors has released the new eXtended Range, ABLE XR low-speed electric utility vehicle. The Tropos ABLE XR is slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018. The Tropos Motors eLSVs will be on exhibit at EPRI’s Electrification 2018 Conference and Exhibition in Long Beach, 20-23 August.

Meritor will supply high-efficiency and lightweight axles, drivelines and brakes that maximize system efficiency, extend range and increase payload. The 80,000-pound, short-haul Peterbilt 579 drayage trucks will support operations at ports throughout California, including Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Diego, and Oakland.
