Nevada joins 16 other States, the District of Columbia and Québec in this effort— led by the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM)—to work toward a goal that 100% of all new medium- and heavy-duty vehicle sales be zero emission vehicles by 2050 with an interim target of 30% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2030.

Matson takes delivery of first dual-fuel Kanaloa-Class con-ro vessel Lurline

Christened Lurline , the new ship is the first of two Kanaloa Class con-ro vessels being built for Matson by NASSCO at a total cost of approximately $500 million for the pair, and the third of four new vessels that Matson is putting into service between 2018 and 2020. Lurline will make its maiden voyage to Hawaii next month.

At the second-annual Climate Mayors Summit in Honolulu, Hawaii, 127 cities and 15 counties from across 38 states joined the Climate Mayors Electric Vehicle Purchasing Collaborative, and committed to purchasing more than 2,100 electric vehicles by the end of 2020.
