USDOT awarding $55M to support purchase of Low-No buses; electric buses and infrastructure

AVTA is committed to having an all electric fleet by 2018. The buses will be operated on BCT's express bus routes servicing the Southeast Florida cities of Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Antelope Valley Transit Authority will receive funding to purchase battery electric buses that will replace diesel buses that have exceeded useful life.
