Overall, traffic congestion has increased globally during the last decade, and the 239 cities (57%) TomTom included in the new Traffic Index report had increased congestion levels between 2018 and 2019, with only 63 cities showing measurable decreases. And drivers have a role to play too.

Launched in April 2018, DiDi Mexico offers its range of ride-hailing, taxi-hailing and food delivery services across 32 cities, covering 50% of the nation’s population. In 2019, the number of trips people have taken with DiDi grow by nearly three and a half times. 200 EVs are exclusive for DiDi drivers.

Nissan unveiled the Frontier Sentinel, a concept pickup truck designed by Nissan Brazil’s styling studio, at the 2018 São Paulo Motor Show. The new Nissan LEAF is now available through a pre-sale program in Brazil, Chile and Colombia. The concept is designed for rescue missions in all types of Brazilian terrain.
