It is true that Rhode Island is small. Much of the meager wind power that does exist comes either from other states or from the 30-megawatt Block Island Wind Farm—the first offshore wind farm in the US—which consists of just five turbines and only came online in 2016. That makes that 2033 goal all the more achievable.
