Several manufacturers now offer gas-saving hybrid versions of their vehicles but it''s surprisingly rare to find two companies who have gone about it in the same way. The early pioneers, Toyota and Honda, fielded completely different systems at launch--and well over a decade down the line Honda has once again introduced a new hybrid system.

Honda plans to apply the next generation of its advanced suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies—Honda Sensing 360—to all new Honda and Acura models in the US by 2030. The US application of Honda Sensing 360 is part of a global strategy announced by Honda Motor Co., that will begin in China in 2022.
