UPS will have invested more than $1 billion in alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles and fueling stations from 2008 through 2018. GE Evolution Series locomotive engines in production at Grove City plant. The company will invest approximately $35 million to build capacity at a new diesel engine remanufacturing plant. The rule will cut PM emissions from these engines by as much as 90% and NO x emissions by as much as 80% when fully implemented.
