Emission factors were matched to data from a statewide drayage truck registry, including engine make, model year, and installed emission control equipment. Currently, pre-2007 model year (MY) trucks cannot serve the ports. All 2007-2009 MY trucks are compliant through 2022. 09-340.

An active IEEE volunteer, Hodges served in several leadership roles including 2007 vice chair of the IEEE Awards Board and 2011–2012 vice president of the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board. He supervised the installation of the equipment by more than 150 cable systems in the United States.
