I’m a huge fan of their 2007 publication, “ Working Toward A Greater, Greener Manhattan Beach &# and I’ve been learning a great deal from their city’s presentations at the South Bay Green Task Force meetings I attend. Both the City Police and Fire chiefs are now driving city owned alternative fuel vehicles.

The Detroit News has the alternative fuel breakdown in the president's budget request, and it isn't pretty. Increases for hydrogen fuel cell research from $289 million in FY 2007 to $309 million in FY 2008. Plug-in hybrids and electric cars built with the best possible, most economic, available-now technology.
