In the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and in the Le Mans 24 Hours as the season’s pinnacle event, Audi will compete with a thoroughly revised R18 e-tron quattro diesel hybrid racer in the 4-megajoule class. 2015 R18 e-tron quattro. In 2006, Audi’s TDI engine debuted at Le Mans, followed by eight victories until 2014.

DOE’s targets are $45/kW by 2010 and $30/kW by 2015. ARB staff also noted that fuel cell durability has improved dramatically, including free-capable system lasting 1,900 hours in the field in 2008 (up from 950 hours in 2006) and 7,300 hours in the lab.
