An outer skin made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) encases the inner aluminum shell. The first technology demonstrator was the compact A2H2 in 2004, which was already equipped with a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEM). With Audi e-gas, Audi already offers A3 g-tron customers climate-neutral mobility.
