I had surmised this in my 2002 car design thesis [link] even before anyone was talking about plug in series hybrids. The fact that no journalists do their research to bring up all those connections is sad, sad. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Why cant they just pull out the EV1 again?
