Availability begins in Spring 2014 at several Southern California Hyundai dealers. At the Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota highlighted its own new FCV Concept with a world premiere. The energy is stored in a 24 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery, jointly developed with LG Chemical. Hyundai is taking the second approach.
