Daimler AG has received top marks for disclosure of its climate protection measures aimed at combating climate change, receiving the maximum 100 points in the Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP’s) “Climate Disclosure Leadership Index” and an “A” rating in the “Climate Performance Leadership Index”.

Mercedes-Benz is investing a total of around €3 billion (US$3.3 Dr Thomas Weber, Member of the Daimler Board of Management with responsibility for Group Research at Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz Cars Development. In the interests of high power output and a spontaneous engine response, Mercedes-Benz opted for twin-scroll turbocharging.
