Since the initial ground-breaking ceremony in February 2000, we have invested more than 1.3 Porsche Leipzig GmbH now employs a workforce of approximately 4,300 employees, and the factory manufactures the Porsche Panamera and Macan series, as well as bodies for Bentley. Porsche decided to establish a site in Leipzig in 1999.

Bentley will introduce the new Continental GT Speed Convertible at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this month. The new GT Speed Convertible shares its powertrain specification with its Bentley stablemate, the GT Speed coupé: a 616 bhp (459 kW) twin-turbocharged 6.0 l/100km urban, 10.4 l/100km combined.

Audi made its Le Mans debut in 1999, and celebrated its first victory in 2000. at Le Mans because a V8 biturbo engine developed by Audi Sport powered the winning race car of Audi’s sister brand Bentley in 2003. No other brand had ever before been as successful as Audi in such a short period of time.
