The Jeep is ending the sale in France of non-electrified internal combustion engines (ICE) on all the Renegade and Compass ranges; the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee being already only available in 4xe plug-in hybrid versions. Customers can order a gasoline or diesel engine until 30 May.

Renault is launching electric retrofit kits in France in partnership with R-FIT. The Renault 5 electric retrofit kit will go on sale in France in September 2023 while the kit for the Twingo will be made available at a later date. These kits can be installed on the popular Renault 4, Renault 5 and first generation Twingo.

Nissan announced that cumulative sales of vehicles with its e-POWER electrified powertrain ( earlier post ) surpassed 500,000 units at the end of March. The e-POWER system uses a highly efficient gasoline engine to generate electricity for the electric motor that propels the vehicle. e-POWER power train (for New Note).
