Fallbrook Technologies, TEAM Industries, and Tomberlin expanding and accelerating joint development activities on low-speed EVs

the developer and manufacturer of NuVinci continuously variable planetary (CVP) transmissions ( earlier post ), low-speed EV manufacturer Tomberlin Group and TEAM Industries, a designer and manufacturer of drivelines, are expanding their joint development activities. In January, 2011, Fallbrook announced a partnership with TEAM Industries to develop electric vehicle transmission prototypes. Tomberlin has more than 10 models in its low-speed EV line-up.

One of Scotland’s leading family entertainment destinations, Xscape Braehead, has taken delivery of a 100% electric 4×4 utility vehicle to help with its recycling and waste collection. The Tomberlin VANISH, from ePower Trucks, will also be used to help ferry maintenance staff around the popular complex located near to Glasgow.
