GM Spring Hill to run on 100% solar power by 2022

A green tariff agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority is expected to supply up to 100 megawatts of solar energy per year, or the amount of electricity consumed by 18,000 United States households annually. General Motors expects its Spring Hill Manufacturing plant will be powered by 100% solar energy beginning in late 2022.
