Tesla is suing the State of Louisiana over a law that restricts its ability to sell EVs directly to customers which violate its constitutional rights, The Wall Street Journal reported. Tesla is also fighting for the freedom of not just me but all Louisiana consumers. I flew to New Jersey and San Diego to pick up both of my Tesla.

San Diego, Ca-based V-Vehicle Company (VVC) ( earlier post ) has been informed that the Program Office of the US Department of Energy (DOE) will not recommend approval of VVC’s two loan applications for $321.1 million to re-equip and tool an existing manufacturing facility as VVC’s first regional assembly plant in Monroe, Louisiana.

San Diego, California-based startup V-Vehicle Company (VVC) will begin assembling cars in Monroe, LA. In addition, Louisiana FastStart will provide, at no cost to the company, customized workforce recruitment, screening and training for VVC and its on-site suppliers. The stations will allow the fleets to lower their costs by buying fuel in bulk, access federal motor fuel excise tax credits, refuel at the times most convenient to their schedules, and model successful use of propane to nearby peers. To support the vehicles, 35 propane refueling stations will be constructed. Total DOE award: $12,633,080.
