Category 1 Hurricane Isaac will have a minimal impact on Gulf manufacturing, according to GlobalData’s managing analyst for the downstream oil & gas sector, Jeffrey C. A typical refined barrel of crude in the Gulf area yields 46% gasoline, 25% diesel or heating oil, and 6% natural gas liquids.
