Toyota has taken covers off its electric bZ Concept compact SUV, looking near production ready and primed to be an EV version of the next-generation C-HR. Revealed at this month’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the bZ Concept joins the Tesla-fighting bZ3 electric sedan revealed last month and bZ4X electric SUV due on-sale in Australia in 2023.

Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., revealed the all-new Toyota RAV4 EV at the 26 th annual Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS26) in Los Angeles. The battery-electric SUV features a 41.8 With a 10 kW charger on-board (SAE J1772 connector), charging time of the large pack is approximately six hours on a 240V/40A charger.

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- General Motors Corp. (GM) Wagoner said GM is using the Saturn Vue hybrid sport utility vehicle to develop a plug-in hybrid, which can be re-charged from a standard electrical outlet, and will offer biofuel-capable Hummer SUVs.

Electric cars everywhere you looked, quiet as a mouse and making a total mockery out of General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler who could have been making these cars for the last decade, but instead had to be pushed to the brink of bankruptcy and shame-filled failure before they would start even talking about making these cars.
