The Torrance Hillside Overlay district , covers most of the historic Hollywood Riviera neighborhood where the Creative Greenius lives and I can tell you that it’s a zoning law that is pure politics. I just read the article in the June/July issue of Homepower magazine written by two firemen who have solar panels on their roofs.

Lotus Engineering and Harmon International, two heavyweights in their respective industries, have teamed up to create a new technology known as Electronic Sound Synthesis (ESS). Alternatively, may we suggest the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck? Basically, the external ESS is a system that produces artificial vehicle noise.

Outside of North America, 2008 was the second-best sales year in the last decade and the third-best ever for Chrysler International. Thats such a pretty metallic blue; I would love to see these postal vehicles around my neighborhood. Total sales worldwide in 2008 were 2 million vehicles. Oh, and the whole electric thing is good too.
