In 2006, Shell signed an agreement with Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Co. Shenhua has also signed an agreement with Sasol from South Africa to study a coal-to-liquids project in Ningxia. Shenhua has also signed an agreement with Sasol from South Africa to study a coal-to-liquids project in Ningxia.
