Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has selected Toshiba Corporation’s SCiB battery ( earlier post ) to power two new models of electric vehicles (EV), the i-MiEV and MINICAB-MiEV. Endesa, Spain’s largest utility, has developed a prototype V2G (Vehicle to Grid) charger that enables electric vehicles to return stored power to the grid. Endesa will use the Mitsubishi i-MiEV to carry out the trials with the V2G charger.

At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. Luckily no one was really at Plug-In 2009 to hear the Three Car Stooges at this point, they don’t have any pleasant surprises in store for us.
