Case-in-point is the all-new GV60 EV, which followed its cousins, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 (2020), and the Kia EV6 ( 2021). After driving 246 miles through Southern California counties of Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego, we had 30 miles of range remaining on the dash gauge. Touches of luxury & tech. EPA at 235 miles.

The bill is agnostic in terms of how V2X tech is implemented. I think we have 22 or 24 buses in the San Diego area, and we have another deployment underway in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where we are initially deploying 24 as well. Kia, Hyundai will be launching bidirectional-capable vehicles.

Also maintenance on these (no oil changes to speak of) etc will cost much less than an internal combution propelled car.
