Used Priuses, especially the Generation 2 that were made from 2004 to 2009 are becoming a bargain to buy, especially for the MPG and features you get in return. They knew about hybrids and after a couple of times riding in our Prius, they decided to pull the trigger on two 2006s with 180k km (112k miles). How did it all start?

Hyundai unveiled the redesigned 2018 Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid models at the Chicago Auto Show. Although the powertrains remain the same, the new Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid feature a comprehensive exterior and interior redesign, safety, suspension and new and improved infotainment and connectivity features.

Toyota has reduced the MSRP on the 2014 Prius Plug-in Hybrid by more than $2,000, making the starting MSRP $29,990 (excluding dealer preparation and handling, DPH). The CVRP program offers rebates to individuals, business owners, non-profit groups, and government entities that purchase or lease new eligible zero-emission or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. It’s also capable of traveling up to 62 mph (100 km/h) using electric power alone. The base MSRP for the Prius Plug-in Hybrid is $32,000.
