California-based US Hybrid Corporation has been awarded a contract by the Hawaii Center for Advanced Transportation Technologies (HCATT) for the design, integration and delivery of its H 2 Ride Fuel Cell Plug-In Shuttle Bus for operation by the County of Hawaii Mass Transit Agency’s (MTA) HELE-ON Big Island bus service. Another three are on the West Coast and in Hawaii: Seattle (4), Portland (5), and Honolulu (6). Honolulu, with 26 quick chargers, has one of densest charging grids in the US. Four of the top 15 markets are in California: San Francisco (1), Los Angeles (2), San Diego (7) and Sacramento (8).
