The partnership combines GE’s global scale, broad technology portfolio, smart grid expertise, and its new WattStation Level 2 electric vehicle charger ( earlier post ) with Better Place’s EV services and infrastructure solution. Better Place is already working towards initial network deployments in these markets, beginning in 2011.

Better Place Debuts EV Services Platform and Partners at Frankfurt Motor Show

Better Place introduced its electric vehicle (EV) services platform at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in conjunction with Renault’s unveiling of the Fluence ZE Concept with Quickdrop (switchable) battery system and an expanded agreement with Renault, committing both companies to a volume of at least 100,000 electric cars in Israel and Denmark by 2016.
