Lutz, who retired earlier this year, called the car Detroits "moon shot" and an attempt to wrest the mantle of innovation back from the Japanese. Lutz is a man given to hyperbole — called global warming "a crock of shit" — but in this case, hes right. It also offers eight hybrid models. Thats short-sighted.
