Vaillant, the heating and ventilation specialist, and Honda presented a new micro-combined heat and power (mCHP) system for Europe. The mCHP system simultaneously produces heat and electricity and will be available in Germany by mid-year under the product name Vaillant ecoPOWER 1.0. systems to deliver an overall efficiency of 92%.

Nonetheless, I do agree that it wastes of energy, reduces range and should NOT be mandatory. a cyclist is much quieter, and these cars do have horns still for people what step out in front. Must be nice to know that deafies are actually smarter than those hearie idiots! I know this and I speak for them. because I am one.

Caroline Reichert, an RWE spokeswoman, noted that the idea here is to ensure that "a car can be recharged in Italy in exactly the same way as in Denmark, Germany or France." Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. Saving lives through nuclear power. :p

The electric Mini is unlikely to go into production in its present form.

So much more convenient than having to take time out of my day and go out of my way (wasting more energy) to get a charge elsewhere or do battery swaps. and your Honda/Sony car will be perfectly happy with any Durcell/Energizer pack just like AA calls in your flashlight. Of course when on a trip the other options would be desirable.
