Ive found it facinating how car commercials changed the main MPG number they promoted before gas went over $4 a gallon as city miles. It was a Manufacturing Failure, as GM NEVER planned to build the car in Volume, so No Economies of Scale were ever achieved. Think of driving any vehicle in the hot Los Angeles summer time.
