Ive found it facinating how car commercials changed the main MPG number they promoted before gas went over $4 a gallon as city miles. Think of driving any vehicle in the hot Los Angeles summer time. Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car.
