ExxonMobil said it made a discovery at Whiptail in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana. Drilling continues at both wells to test deeper targets, and results will be evaluated for future development. ExxonMobil made two oil discoveries at Fangtooth-1 and Lau Lau-1 in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana. The well was drilled in 6,030 feet (1,838 meters) of water and is located approximately 11 miles (18 kilometers) northwest of the Liza field. Separately, progress continues on infrastructure for future field development.

ExxonMobil has made three new discoveries offshore Guyana and increased its estimate of the recoverable resource for the Stabroek Block to nearly 11 billion oil-equivalent barrels. The three discoveries are southeast of the Liza and Payara developments and bring to five the discoveries made by ExxonMobil in Guyana in 2022.

ExxonMobil has made a discovery at Pinktail in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana. These results will be incorporated into future developments.
