The new MAN Lion’s City 18 E electric articulated 18-meter bus will begin testing with customers in Barcelona and Cologne in the second half of 2020. Sales of the 18-meter electric bus started in April. The fleet comprises 15 test vehicles, which will be deployed as part of everyday operations.

In 2020 production of the EQV premium electric MPV (combined power consumption: 26.4 kWh/100 km) started in Vitoria, northern Spain. In May 2019, the EQC 400 4MATIC as a purely electric vehicle, was integrated into the ongoing series production of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen.
