FedEx Express Europe, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, has received the first of 33 new Mercedes-Benz eSprinter vans being added to ground operations in Spain over the coming months. The 3,5t fully electric vehicles have been allocated to FedEx Express stations in Madrid and Barcelona.

Ford is backtracking on its plans to develop groundbreaking electric vehicles in Spain after its forecasting for the European market has been “revised,” the company said. In June, Ford said it would begin building electric vehicles in Valencia, Spain, with a next-generation EV architecture.
