The Cadillac Converj extended-range electric vehicle Concept uses the Voltec platform. Consumer Reports rates the Buick Enclave higher than vehicles from Toyota, Volvo, Infiniti, Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz in the Luxury- Full Size SUV category. GM is still continuing to invest in hydrogen vehicle development.

Daimler/Mercedes Took over Daimler/Chrysler Sprinter PHEV program. General Motors Chevy Volt series PHEV, which it calls "extended range electric vehicle" (EREV), part of "E-Flex" multi-fuel platform. Continues promotion and development of hydrogen as long-term strategy. Company says its focusing on gasoline and hydrogen.
