Siemens and Valeo have signed an agreement to form a joint venture in high voltage powertrains for the entire range of electric vehicles including hybrids, plug-in hybrids and full electric vehicles. —Jacques Aschenbroich, Chairman and CEO of Valeo. Bosch offers a portfolio of solutions ranging from 48-volt mild hybridization to fully electric drives and fuel cells. Bosch is doing its part to meet this demand. The company’s Eisenach plant produces 48-volt batteries for the hybridization of passenger cars. Bosch intends to use this know-how to meet the growing demand.
