Better Place introduced its electric vehicle (EV) services platform at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in conjunction with Renault’s unveiling of the Fluence ZE Concept with Quickdrop (switchable) battery system and an expanded agreement with Renault, committing both companies to a volume of at least 100,000 electric cars in Israel and Denmark by 2016.

Also, besides giving you the ability to charge at night when most utility rates are lower, future vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology may allow you to sell some of your stored energy back to the utilities.
