Our neighborhood is called the “Hollywood Riviera&# because of its beautiful hillside homes with idyllic ocean views framed by palm trees. We’re also only 12 miles from the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach – the two largest stationary sources off air pollution and all their related greenhouse gases in L.A.

Ladies and gentlemen your friendly neighborhood Greenius has hit the wall. A year-long one. That’s when I also started doing radio commentaries for KLON FM-88 in Long Beach, then an NPR affiliate. That led to my writing the environmental columns for Hermosa Beach Patch, Manhattan Beach Patch and Redondo Beach Patch.
