At that rate, it would take more than 500 million person-hours to manually search imagery covering all of Ukraine’s suspected contaminated land for EO. Our resulting model correctly detected 92 percent of PFM-1s in these environments, on average. Maybe we’ll eventually have separate models for places such as Angola, Iraq, and Laos.
