RATP beginning tests of Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen bus in Paris

The Solaris hydrogen-powered bus tests will be carried out in the south of Paris. The bus is also fitted with a Solaris High Power battery acting as an additional electric power storage facility. Importantly, the carrier has decided to completely transform its fleet of 4,700 buses to low-emission vehicles by 2025.

Lithium polymer battery packs from Corvus Energy were recently installed in Europe’s first hybrid tugboat, the RotorTug RT Adriaan of KOTUG, an international maritime service provider headquartered in The Netherlands. This diesel-to-hybrid retrofit represents Europe’s first low emissions hybrid tugboat. Corvus uses Dow Kokam cells.
