mile hill-climb, Brighton-based Elektromotive is supplying the event organisers with four Elektrobays, the world’s only electric vehicle charging station in widespread day-to-day use. The £25 million subsidy will support the installation of more than 500 charging stations, the majority of which will be Elektrobays.

Charged using a standard three-pin plug, the two seater has a range of up to 70 miles and has a top speed of 60mph. It is virtually silent when running and also emits no harmful substances, such as carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide, into the environment.
