The Peugeot 308 CC will be the first model in the Peugeot range to benefit from a new 1.6 liter HDi diesel engines that were launched earlier, Extreme Combustion Chamber System (ECCS) technology is much to the fore. liter HDi comes as standard with a diesel particulate emission filter (FAP) with a service life of 112,000 miles.

liter HDi FAP 68 kW (92 bhp) in Peugeot ranges. liter HDi FAP Euro 5 engines that appeared in 2009, Peugeot is applying its Extreme Combustion Chamber System (ECCS) technology here. These HDi engine blocks are combined as standard with the particle emissions filter which now has a service interval of 180,000 km (112,000 miles).
